Belcan Corporation in Middletown, CT seeks a Technical Manufacturing Engineering Leader to act as the primary on-site contact for customers and to mentor a medium-sized engineering team. The role combines individual technical work with leadership to deliver projects on time and to specification.

You will oversee scopes, schedules, and resources while upholding Belcan's guiding principles and driving operational excellence. This position requires 1st shift, full-time onsite in Middletown, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to work onsite in Middletown, CT.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site customer interface and maintain strong relationships.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure performance.
• Review and approve technical work; balance individual contribution with leadership.
• Conduct regular customer meetings; provide project updates and identify opportunities.
• Review and quote new work; monitor progress to completion.
• Coach and develop team members and foster Belcan values.
