Kent Consumer Brands Americas, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to drive capital investment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing network in Muscatine, IA.

You will lead projects from concept through startup, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role offers exposure to multiple facilities with up to 50% travel and a chance to shape our operations' future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, food production, or continuous process.
• 3+ years managing capital projects: planning, budgeting, scheduling, startup.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional projects with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety.
• Experience managing construction activities and equipment installations.
• Proficient with AutoCAD for layouts and design reviews.
• Knowledge of manufacturing automation, GMPs, OSHA and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and operational projects from concept through startup, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Develop technical solutions meeting safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage contractors and suppliers, coordinate field execution and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned to boost productivity.
• Provide technical support to Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
