Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA, seeks an experienced Manager of Manufacturing to lead the drug substance operations within the Manufacturing Programs team. You will oversee GMP manufacturing, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance across facilities involved from clinical through commercial production.

You will manage people, projects, and technology development activities, plan validation and commissioning, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver safe, reliable manufacturing

Formación

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field and substantial manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage people, projects, and cross‑functional teams in a GMP setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership and auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of manufacturing specialists in upstream drug substance operations.
• Drive continual improvement and strategic problem solving across programs.
• Manage projects, resources, and schedules with cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee readiness of new technologies, equipment, or processes with PM skills.
• Draft GMP documents and validation protocols/reports as needed.
