Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Manufacturing Management Analyst to drive program performance and coordinate between Manufacturing, PMO, MRP, QMA, and Engineering.

You will own cost and schedule performance, manage baselines, and support proposal efforts while working with Quality & Mission Excellence, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Experience communicating statuses on complex projects to all management levels
• Experience leading a team, setting priorities to achieve cost and schedule requirements
• Experience analyzing data and figures (cost and schedule) and other manufacturing metrics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project); U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manufacturing Management Analyst for assigned products and programs
• Lead day-to-day coordination between Manufacturing and PMO, MRP, QMA, GSC, Engineering, Shipping
• Provide operational leadership through design, build, test, and delivery to meet objectives
• Manage baseline development, procurement coordination, material tracking, kitting, and planning
• Own operations cost and schedule performance, and risk and opportunity management
• Manage demand inputs and schedules in MRP, report performance and risks to factory leadership
• Use EVMS and serve as CAM for manufacturing, test, and manufacturing support functions
• Lead or support program meetings and present Operations status
• Drive process improvement and change; refine methods to manage labor resources
• Estimate Operations content in proposals to secure new business
• May require travel up to ~4 times per year
