Job summary

Oldcastle APG in the United States is seeking production operators to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining equipment, operating hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklifts, palletizers, and other hydraulic equipment, and assisting with loading/unloading trucks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background test.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and attend weekly safety meetings.
• Must demonstrate lock out tag out procedures and keep key lock.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean-up machinery and conveyors; maintain area; keep equipment debris-free during downtime.
• Operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered vehicles.
• Clean floors and collect reusable scrap for salvage; transport trash from production areas.
• Operate a variety of hand tools.
• Assist in loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain, verify, and count product inventory.
