As A Manufacturing Production Technician, You Will

• Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean & safe environment
• Monitor production machines, making adjustments to machine settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
• Troubleshoot production equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
• Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions
• Join with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction
• Grow your skills through formal & side-by-side training and have opportunities for career advancement
  
  

To Be A Manufacturing Production Technician, You'll Need

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
• Mechanical inclination – you like to fix things, use tools, work with your hands.
• Knowledge of extrusion or blow molding machines and equipment is a plus!
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems is a plus!
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  
  

You’ll Earn

• Depending on your experience, $20+ or more per hour
• 2nd shift pays an additional $2.50 per hour (shift differential)
