Plastipak’s Champaign facility is safe, extremely clean, and climate-controlled. We’re hiring to support our growth & expansion in the Champaign location.

Shift:

Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am

• Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• 2 long weekends per month
• Full-time is 15 working days per month

Pay:

Earn $22 per hour, including:

• $21 per hour base pay
• Additional $1.00 per hour for night shift

You Will:

• Operate extrusion, injection, or blow-molding machines & equipment
• Monitor & adjust machine settings (heat control, water cooling, hydraulic pressure)
• Perform basic machine maintenance
• Check product quality
• Participate in training to learn new skills

You Have:

• Ability to work a 12-hour shift on a 3-2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume production environment
• Experience operating manufacturing machines & equipment
• Basic hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical knowledge
• Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
