Position Summary:
The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for preparing formulation batches, testing ingredients and finished goods, optimizing the process, and ensuring final products meet all product quality specifications in adherence with the company’s quality and safety standards.
Primary Duties:
· Produce batch formulations according to manufacturing manuals and SOPs.
· Conduct laboratory quality control tests.
· Transport materials throughout the facility by forklift.
· Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure formulations meet specifications.
· Troubleshoot equipment in manufacturing and quality control.
Qualifications:
● Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality control, producing batches, performing quality tests, and following procedures.
● Experience in quality control testing and method development and validation.
● Fork lift certification.
● Agriculture crop protection or related industry preferred but not required
● Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and work individually to accomplish tasks.
● Highly developed written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively within a highly matrixed organization and regulated business environment.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
