Responsibilities:
- Direct flow of production materials through multiple sewing & sealing operations
- Responsible for production line staffing assignments for 4-15 people
- Monitoring productivity v. measured timing for operations.
- Assigning people to correct operations based on training.
- Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities.
- Will be accountable to KPIs tied to labor expenses and other operating expenses
- Allocate resources to ensure minimum downtime and completion of scheduled activities. Prioritize and manage workload to ensure assignments address goals and objectives.
- Staff Supervision:
- Approving time off requests and addressing violations of attendance policy via verbal and written communication with staff.
- Addressing all employee issues/concerns
- Responsible for assisting with the onboarding process of new hires, conducting reviews for associates, ensuring training of associates
