Job summary

Suburban Enterprises is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead and develop production teams in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment, safely meeting quality, delivery, and efficiency targets. This role emphasizes ownership, responsibility, and a self-directed work culture.

You will oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and adherence to safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement and using ERP systems to track labor and work orders.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in electrical fabrication, panel building, wire harnessing, or industrial assembly preferred.
• Solid understanding of production schedules, labor standards, efficiency tracking, quality systems, and corrective actions.
• Comfortable using ERP systems for labor and job tracking.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution of the production schedule within assigned area(s).
• Ensure work orders are worked in priority sequence as defined by the schedule.
• Lead, coach, and hold production employees accountable to expectations.
• Ensure proper staffing, training, and skill coverage for daily operations.
• Ensure all work meets quality, workmanship, and documentation requirements.
• Address defects, rework, and quality issues at the point of occurrence.
• Own safety performance within assigned department.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.

The Role – Manufacturing Production Supervisor

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor role will lead, direct, and develop production teams to safely execute the production schedule while meeting quality, delivery, and efficiency targets in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment.

What You'll Do
