Job summary

Suburban Enterprises is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead production teams in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will own daily scheduling, optimize staffing and training, and drive continuous improvement while holding teams accountable to performance targets and process standards.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of manufacturing experience required.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in electrical fabrication, panel building, wire harnessing, or industrial assembly preferred.
• Solid understanding of production schedules, priorities, labor standards, efficiency tracking, and corrective actions.
• Comfortable using ERP systems for labor and job tracking.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution of the production schedule within assigned area(s).
• Ensure work orders are worked in priority sequence as defined by the schedule.
• Lead, coach, and hold production employees accountable to expectations.
• Ensure proper staffing, training, and skill coverage for daily operations.
• Ensure all work meets quality, workmanship, and documentation requirements.
• Address defects, rework, and quality issues at the point of occurrence.
• Own safety performance within the department.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.

The Role - Manufacturing Production Supervisor

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor role will lead, direct, and develop production teams to safely execute the production schedule while meeting quality, delivery, and efficiency targets in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment.

What You’ll Do
