Job summary

Suburban Enterprises is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and improve all manufacturing operations, delivering quality electrical assemblies safely, on time, and within budget. You will drive operational excellence, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement while supporting growth objectives.

The role requires 7+ years of leadership in manufacturing, plus ERP/MRP experience and a track record of developing teams in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing supervisors or managers.
• Experience in electrical assembly, panel fabrication, controls manufacturing, or related industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Proven success leading teams in a growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer orders are manufactured and shipped on time.
• Balance labor, equipment, and material resources to meet production schedules.
• Eliminate bottlenecks and improve production flow.
• Manage direct labor efficiency and manufacturing overhead.
• Establish and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

The Role – Manufacturing Operations Manager

The Manufacturing Operations Manager owns and improves all manufacturing operations to ensure the division delivers quality electrical assemblies safely, on time, within budget, and at target profitability. This role drives operational excellence, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and team development while supporting the division's growth objectives.

What You'll Do
