Job summary

AVT Simulation seeks a results-driven Production Supervisor for its Oviedo, FL facility. The role oversees day-to-day manufacturing and production activities, ensures adherence to processes, and manages workforce assignments to meet program priorities and schedules.

You will coordinate with Planning, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues, maintain WIP control, and ensure timely recording in Costpoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing routings, work instructions, engineering drawings, quality requirements, and production documentation.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Deltek Costpoint.

Responsibilities

• Direct all daily manufacturing and production activities within the assigned facility, ensuring execution aligns with program priorities and schedules.
• Manage workforce assignments, productivity, and performance, ensuring employees remain actively engaged and accountable for assigned work.
• Ensure manufacturing activities are performed correctly and in accordance with approved drawings, work instructions, routings, quality requirements, and established processes.
• Ensure all required manufacturing steps, inspections, and documentation are completed, with routing operations accurately recorded and signed off by the personnel performing the work.
• Provide accurate production status updates, identify schedule risks, and develop and execute recovery plans when production requirements are not achieved.
