Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a General Laborer to support production by assisting with machine setup, operation, cleanup, and quality inspections. This role contributes to productivity improvements, reduced downtime, and top-quality output across the plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Able to work first, second, or third shift as assigned.
• Reliable attendance.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and volumes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup, operation, cleanup and inspections.
• Visually inspect units and report issues to supervisor.
• Ensure correct placement of tags, cover sheets and stacking patterns.
• Operate at available capacity and speed to maximize productivity.
• Assist related machine operators and participate in plant floor teamwork.
• Support all jobs on the plant floor and safety procedures.
