Job summary

Kirby Risk Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Lafayette, IN for an on-site 1st shift role. You will support production by managing tool setups, reading setup instructions, and helping ensure quality parts meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has an engineering qualification or equivalent experience, strong data capture and MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy while communicating effectively with teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering OR 2 years related work experience.
• Ability to track and report on project success and milestones.
• Strong attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication and computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical production support and capture analytical data.
• Read and interpret setup instructions to configure equipment.
• Perform setups on termination presses and verify specs before production.
• Operate and read measurement tools to validate part quality.
• Represent Kirby Risk professionally in communications with suppliers and customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
