Job summary

Avgol, a global leader in nonwoven fabrics, seeks a Process Technician in Mocksville, NC to technically manage an assigned Reicofil line and related equipment, contributing to special projects as part of the Process Technology Team.

Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting process issues, implementing online changes, coaching line operators, and driving KPI improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP and Cognex Vision systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and instructions.
• Good problem solving, basic math and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work day/evening/night shifts and on-call on weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supports assigned manufacturing and auxiliary equipment.
• Identifies, troubleshoots and solves process and equipment problems.
• Makes process and equipment changes online.
• Prepares and submits technical documentation.
• Provides training to Line Operators and Slitter Operators.
• Drives continuous improvement in KPI and waste reduction.
• Attends morning production meetings and communicates safety and quality issues.
• Maintains safety procedures and PPE usage.
