Job summary

AVGOL is seeking a US Process Engineer to oversee production processes, recipes, quality, trials, and continuous improvement efforts in our North Carolina facility. The role partners with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and plant leadership to drive safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in process monitoring, recipe management, and troubleshooting; familiarity with Cognex, SAP, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; technical/engineering education preferred.
• Experience: Manufacturing or process-related experience required.
• Systems: Microsoft Office preferred; SAP and vision systems a plus.
• Skills: Process monitoring, recipe management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage production recipes and changes to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Create and validate new recipes for new products and lines.
• Lead local trials and product qualifications; document results.
• Provide technical support to Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Production.
• Oversee process-related maintenance and equipment impacting the process.
• Support plant management decisions with process expertise.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain process records.
