Job summary

AVGOL is seeking a Maintenance Line Technician in Mocksville, NC. The role supports safe, efficient plant operations through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment.

You will conduct inspections, prioritize repairs, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime while upholding safety and quality standards. The position calls for a strong focus on continuous improvement, equipment modifications, project planning, and team

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or technical training preferred.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily line checks and update task lists as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems and related peripherals.
• Document maintenance activities, preventive maintenance (PMs), and parts usage in CMMS.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership across all levels.
• Operate powered lifting equipment in support of maintenance functions.
• Analyze equipment performance and contribute to process improvements.
• Train and support employees in mechanical, electrical, and facility-related tasks as needed.
