Job summary

Avgol Nonwovens is seeking a full-time position in Mocksville, NC. The role involves testing master rolls, entering data in SAP/QW, performing audits, and communicating test results to supervisors to ensure customer specifications are met.

The position requires attention to detail, adherence to trial instructions, and willingness to support multiple shifts with training duties and safety procedures emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Test master roll from line for adherence to customer specs and enter results in QW
• Enter data accurately in SAP and QW
• Perform line audits to check for nonconformance at the slitter
• Communicate out of spec (OOS) product to supervisor and/or manager
• Perform prep work for upcoming orders or next shift
• Follow trial instructions and test accordingly
• Determine if quality defects from slitter require downgrade
• Place suspect material on hold (restrict)
• Release product for transfer to warehouse depending on customer/product
• Communicate results of test to anyone needing to make adjustments
• Cover vacation and Call in days on other shifts Assist with training new techs
• Housekeeping Quality - Ensures quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely manner
• Safety - follows company procedures and uses material and equipment per manufacturers' directions
• Other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $19.83 To $22.15 Hourly
