Job summary

Columbia Tech in Westborough, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant to support ECO processing, maintain manufacturing files, and assist with process improvements. You will troubleshoot on the shop floor under supervision and help collect data to improve build and test cycle times.

The role requires a high school diploma with trade/tech experience being a plus, and a willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing setting. Salary ranges are hourly and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Basic computer literacy; MS Office knowledge.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and processing ECOs for manufacturing files and databases (BOM, assembly and test procedures, work instructions, test records).
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and problem solving support within manufacturing under supervision.
• Make recommendations to minimize downtime and improve processes in Manufacturing Engineering.
