Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a process engineer to provide engineering support to production lines and to continuously improve assembly processes and tooling.

The office is located in Houston; this is not a fully remote position. A hybrid arrangement may apply, with in-office presence required during the workday and collaboration with Test and Quality Engineers on NPI and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 2 years of process/industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform time studies and line balancing on assembly lines.
• Support facility layout and improvement projects.
• Train operators on assembly processes.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing products, processes, and procedures.
• Design and implement new tools to help improve quality and productivity.
• Work with Test and Quality Engineers to reduce cycle-time and resolve manufacturing issues on a timely basis.
• Assist Process Engineer in NPI and process improvement.
• Provide production floor support as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
