Job summary

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical field.
Self-motivated and driven with ownership of responsibilities.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques and CAD/Blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

Investigate process improvement activities for efficiency gains and defect reductions.
Respond to engineering support requests at all manufacturing work centers.
Gather information for equipment maintenance, capacity analysis, and process improvement.
Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods, labor standards, and cost/scrap analysis.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in kaizen events.
Coordinate quality control objectives to resolve production issues and maximize reliability.
Drive kaizen by identifying, implementing, tracking, and reporting improvements.
Review production schedules and specifications to understand methods and activities.
Evaluate technical specifications and economic factors related to design objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
