Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical field.
• Self-motivated and driven with ownership of responsibilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques and CAD/Blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Investigate process improvement activities for efficiency gains and defect reductions.
• Respond to engineering support requests at all manufacturing work centers.
• Gather information for equipment maintenance, capacity analysis, and process improvement.
• Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods, labor standards, and cost/scrap analysis.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in kaizen events.
• Coordinate quality control objectives to resolve production issues and maximize reliability.
• Drive kaizen by identifying, implementing, tracking, and reporting improvements.
• Review production schedules and specifications to understand methods and activities.
• Evaluate technical specifications and economic factors related to design objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
