Job summary
RBC Bearings Incorporated in Tucson, AZ is seeking a manufacturing/engineering support role. You will model safe behavior and apply Lean Six Sigma to reduce cost and waste while improving efficiency. You will support the ME team and maintain process documentation. Ideal candidates have an associate degree with 2 years manufacturing experience (or 3 years with HS), and U.S. citizenship. Read drawings, write clear technical instructions, and demonstrate basic computer skills.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree plus 2 years manufacturing or related experience, or 3 years with HS diploma/GED.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and ensure blueprint compliance.
Ability to interpret and write clear technical instructions.
Hands-on with basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
Model safe behavior at all times.
Promote Continual Improvement using Lean Six Sigma to drive quality and efficiency.
Provide technical and general support to the ME team.
Interpret and maintain manufacturing process documentation (routers, RWPs, SOPs, Work Orders).
Coordinate capital equipment expenditures and training for production personnel.
Participate in the engineering change process.
