Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related manufacturing field.
• Some experience recommended but not required in a variety of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, and laser cutting.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and testing techniques.
• Understanding of lean principles (Root cause analysis, FEMA, DMAIC).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Support ME Department with time studies and design fixtures.
• Provide hands-on build/repair of existing equipment.
• Build new test equipment.
• Support shop layout review and BOM maintenance.
• Create detail part drawings, 3D models and manage part numbers in IBM i system.
• Assist in time studies for costing and process flow improvements.
