Actalent in Tomball, TX seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support initiatives that optimize production processes, tooling, and workstation design. You will assist in process improvement, maintain engineering documentation, troubleshoot issues on the production floor, and collect data to drive continuous improvement.

This role contributes to safe, high-quality operations by implementing engineering changes, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with production,

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering Technician or related role.
• Associate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/production support environments.
• Ability to read and apply engineering drawings/blueprints in production.

Responsabilidades

• Assist manufacturing engineers in developing, documenting, and improving standard work instructions, routings, and process flows for production operations.
• Support process optimization to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across lines.
• Help design, fabricate, and set up jigs, fixtures, gauges, and workstation layouts.
• Assist with first-article inspection and validation of tooling, fixtures, and processes.
• Gather and maintain production data (cycle times, scrap, downtime, quality metrics) for root-cause analysis.
