Job Description

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a ManufacturingProcess Technician for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in West Greenwich, RI. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves working a 12-hour rotating shift from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing and delivering raw materials within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment, ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations
• Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety
• Ensure quality and compliance through a Right First-Time mentality
• Weigh and dispense components for use in manufacturing
• Dispense and deliver raw material safely and efficiently
• Document appropriate paperwork, understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics, and participate in daily meetings
• Use pallet jacks to move materials
• Use computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch records
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities
• Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED and 1 year of work or military experience, OR an Associate's degree
• Hands-on experience in a relevant environment
• Willingness to learn and high degree of dependability
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (6:30 am to 7:00 pm)

Pay range:

up to $22.19 per hour
