Job summary

GE HealthCare in Madison, AL is seeking a Lean Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Co-Op to learn and teach Lean tools on the shop floor. You will drive problem solving, daily management, and kaizen events tied to the Madison Transformation Plan, focusing on Safety and Efficiency of the Anesthesia Production Line and flow of test assembly stations.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited college or university (Bachelor's preferred)
• Target majors include Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations Management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems clearly
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a diverse team

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Lean tools on the shop floor
• Participate in daily management and kaizen events
• Support Safety and Efficiency of the Anesthesia Production Line
• Transform production flow of test assembly stations
