Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Planner in Holland, MI to optimize production planning and shop utilization. You will develop manufacturing plans, schedule priorities, and coordinate resources for both planned and urgent orders, ensuring manufacturability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing operations in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• APICS, APA, or related planning/scheduling certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review BOMs, drawings, and specifications to ensure completeness and manufacturability.
• Develop manufacturing plans, routing strategies, and scheduling priorities to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate resources to support planned production and urgent customer requirements.
• Monitor machine and fabrication shop capacity and provide short- and long-term planning recommendations.
• Maintain accurate work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing data.
