Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our Illinois plant. The intern will assist the Engineering Manager on projects to support manufacturing by optimizing workflow, eliminating bottlenecks, redesigning layouts, and conducting line-balance studies.

Ideal candidates are sophomores or juniors pursuing an Engineering degree, able to work 40 hours per week, with strong communication, problem-solving, and AutoCAD skills; GPA 3.0+

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior year pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field strongly preferred
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week
• Ability to work with others, but highly self-motivated to achieve individual tasks efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail a must
• Creative problem-solving skills essential; strong analytical skills desired
• Computer skills including excellent skills with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD Experience Required
• GPA desired: 3.0 or better
