Holland Sharpe Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Process Optimization Engineer to champion smarter, faster production on the shop floor in Parsons, Tennessee.

You’ll start by reviewing KPIs, then redesign cell layouts in CAD/CAM and tune tooling, before tackling recurring defects with root-cause methods and updating automation parameters. You’ll lead cross-functional execution, deploy Lean/Six Sigma, and optimize PLCs, robotics, CNCs, and vision systems to elevate throughput and quality

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proven track record in industrial/manufacturing process improvement.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools for layout and tooling optimization.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, CNC, and vision systems.
• Strong data analysis and root cause problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturability constraints.
• Project management and cross-functional leadership experience.

By mid-morning, you’re iterating a new cell layout in SolidWorks, checking GD&T compliance, and finalizing tooling tweaks. The afternoon shifts to troubleshooting: you dive into a recurring defect using root cause methods and update PLC/robot/CNC parameters.
