Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing company in the Starkville, MS area. The role focuses on leading process optimization to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and production performance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, SHEQ and R&D, manage improvement and capital projects from concept through startup, and use process modeling and data analytics to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.
• Experience in chemical processing or similar manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading process improvement or capital projects.
• Knowledge of PSM, PHA, and MOC programs.
• Familiarity with process simulation and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and production performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, SHEQ and R&D teams to support plant objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Manage improvement and capital projects from concept through startup and implementation.
• Conduct process evaluations, engineering studies, and pilot trials to identify operational enhancements.
• Utilize process modeling and data analytics tools to evaluate system performance and support decision-making.
• Develop project plans, scopes of work, operating procedures, and change management documentation.
• Coordinate activities with contractors, vendors, and engineering partners on project execution.
• Support process safety efforts, commissioning activities, control system improvements, and process troubleshooting.
• Present project recommendations and progress updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
