Job summary

Milliken and Company is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer at the Magnolia Plant in Blacksburg, SC to lead site-wide continuous improvement efforts. You will drive manufacturing process enhancements that improve quality, consistency, and cost, reporting to the Process Improvement Manager.

The role requires collaboration with Product Development and cross-functional teams, applying Lean and MPS processes while ensuring safety practices and meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage deadlines and priorities.
• Experience with Lean methods and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives at the Magnolia Plant site.
• Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements to drive quality, consistency and cost reductions.
• Collaborate with Product Development to create new samples and products.
• Apply Lean principles and participate in safety processes and site rotations.
