Job summary

Milliken & Company seeks a Senior Process Improvement Professional for the Magnolia Plant in Blacksburg, SC. You will lead continuous improvement efforts across the site and partner with Engineering Services to drive value and safety.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with possible extended hours for project needs and weekend rotation as part of the plant’s operations. Strong manufacturing experience and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP and PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop and mentor team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process improvement team and manage projects.
• Develop understanding of conditions that impact processes and products.
• Use project management skills to manage multiple improvement projects.
• Analyze problems and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
• Communicate findings through presentations, charts, and tables.
• Mentor and develop direct reports.
• Collaborate with diverse associates to achieve site goals.
• Contribute to Safety Process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
