Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Process Engineer to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes, drive improvements in efficiency, waste reduction, and equipment reliability. You will serve as a technical resource across processing equipment and lead data-driven process control initiatives on the production floor.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with plastics/material science; or 5+ years plastics process engineering.
• Strong sheet extrusion and inline thermoforming skills.
• Working knowledge of SPC, design of experiments and quality systems.
• 5-10 years of continuous improvement and ability to lead teams.
• Supervisory experience and ability to train across the organization; adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and monitor performance.
• Identify and reduce process variation using data and controls.
• Lead process control initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Mine production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support equipment upgrades and reliability initiatives.
• Develop capital estimates for new products or equipment investments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations.
