Job summary

Actalent in Beloit, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, quality, and safety across production lines.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma, support new product introductions, and apply CAD tools to layout tooling and processes in a modern, safety-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and production equipment.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analyses and implement improvements.
• Experience using CAD for process design, tooling, and layouts.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Implement and optimize processes for reliable, cost-effective production.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maximize equipment and labor use.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Support introduction of new products, equipment, and capabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Apply CAD tools to support process design, tooling, fixtures, and layouts.
• Monitor and refine processes to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Ensure processes and equipment meet safety and quality standards.
