Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to identify and drive improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to analyze performance, solve problems, and deliver continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, root cause investigation, and collaboration to implement corrective actions and standardize best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, continuous improvement, or operations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, yield, and cost performance.
• Analyze production and process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for operational and quality issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects and support business objectives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Support capital projects, product trials, and process optimization efforts.
• Monitor key performance metrics and recommend actions to improve results.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
