Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations engineering, or process improvement roles.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience driving process improvement, operational efficiency, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand manufacturing processes, products, and operational challenges.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing projects from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to increase productivity, efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that support operational excellence objectives.
  • Standardize manufacturing processes and best practices across operations where applicable.
  • Drive waste reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze production workflows, labor utilization, material flow, and operational performance.
  • Support capacity planning and resource optimization initiatives.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production flow.
  • Support facility layout improvements and operational efficiency projects.
  • Utilize manufacturing and operational data to support decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Support manufacturing readiness activities for new product introductions.
  • Participate in prototype, pilot, and production launch activities.
  • Assist with implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
  • Support product transfer projects between manufacturing locations when required.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure manufacturing requirements are successfully implemented.
  • Support capital equipment and operational improvement projects.
  • Participate in equipment implementation, process upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in evaluating manufacturing technologies, equipment, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support business growth initiatives through capacity expansion and operational readiness activities.
  • Contribute to project planning, execution, and performance tracking.
  • Provide hands-on support for manufacturing and operational challenges.
  • Lead and participate in structured root cause investigations.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address recurring manufacturing issues.
  • Support manufacturing teams in achieving production and operational objectives.
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
  • Communicate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support project execution through effective stakeholder engagement and teamwork.
  • Build strong working relationships across multiple functions and organizational levels.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and improvement opportunities.
