Overview

Role: Manufacturing Engineer — Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for metal and thermoformed products.
  • Support new product introduction with workflows, tooling, and documentation.
  • Lead process/equipment/tooling validation and drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, standards, and process documentation.
  • Identify new technologies to improve production efficiency.
  • Train production staff on new processes and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (or related).
  • 5+ years in manufacturing engineering (medical devices/precision manufacturing preferred).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process design, and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on with CNC machining, metal forming, plastics/thermoforming.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, and quality systems.
  • CAD and ERP/MRP proficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
