Job description

Manufacturing/Process Engineer - Semiconductor Industry
  • Receive and organize customer drawings and documents, ensuring proper classification and management, and prepare detailed process documentation.
  • Evaluate customer drawings against internal production capabilities to ensure accurate design alignment.
  • Clarify any questions or discrepancies in the drawings with the customer through effective communication and document the outcomes.
  • Manage and document product changes, ensuring seamless updates to the Bill of Materials (BOM), process cards, drawings, stencils, cutting programs, and related materials.
  • Lead the use of ERP systems and design software to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure accuracy in the review process.
  • Oversee the cost calculation process, ensuring precise and comprehensive cost analysis.
  • Monitor and confirm the completion of weekly Manufacturing Instruction (MI) tasks.
  • Prepare and submit monthly technical reports for the department.
  • Collaborate with standardization engineers to update and refine design specifications based on equipment capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency in English, BM, and Mandarin (to effectively communicate with China management)
  • Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor, and undergo training in China for 3-6 months
