Job summary

ESAB Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to plan, initiate, and optimize manufacturing processes across major projects in the United States. You will direct supporting personnel and coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

The role emphasizes implementing new processes, maintaining existing ones, and guiding operators and maintenance staff. Strong project management and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer in manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops/implements new processes and maintains existing ones with safety, quality, delivery, and cost optimization.
• Works with Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
• Team worker who is self-motivated, innovative, and communicates clearly both written and verbally.
• Ability to update SAP/PC Based systems to modify processes, routings, and BOMs.
• Participates with multi-functional teams to solve production problems.
• Ensures EH&S considerations during design and/or changes to the facility.
• Coordinates equipment installation and startup; trains operators and maintenance personnel.
• Specifies OEM equipment to improve processes and prepares substantiating documentation.
