Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support Machining activities, driving safety, quality and productivity improvements. You will apply engineering methods to establish and improve processes and products, develop corrective action plans, and lead audits to ensure Powertrain discipline.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma with 5+ years of related experience and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and leadership in ONE FORD behaviors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 5+ years of related experience required; demonstrated leadership in ONE FORD behaviors.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, with additional leadership and technical credentials.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing Process Engineering activity for Machining
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
• Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and improve manufacturing processes and products
• Develop action plans to investigate and verify corrective actions on internal and supplier processes
• Lead and conduct process audits to ensure discipline with Powertrain guidelines
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and deliver corrective actions as required
• Create process and instruction sheets supporting quality methods and processes
• Deliver capable processes and tools for Machining
• Lead role in resolving assembly related concerns and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Ensure compliance to Plant, Corporate, Governmental and Environmental standards
• Support ISO 14001 compliance and internal ISO auditing and compliance as required
• Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements
