Job summary

Integra is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to drive production efficiency, quality, and capacity on the shop floor. You will work hands-on with production staff to implement best practices, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement for current and new product introductions.

You will develop processes, leverage Lean Six Sigma, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste and improve workflow, while documenting changes and training staff on new methods.

Qualifications

• Capable of working under minimal supervision and prioritizes tasks to take the appropriate action.
• Thorough knowledge of the production facility and current processes.
• Excellent coordination skills to enable cooperation with technical staff, production staff and Management.
• Efficient problem solving skills.
• Effective communication and reporting skills to Management to evaluate risk and reward with developments including recommendations to procure capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing process techniques, capital equipment, and workflow to enhance productivity and quality.
• Work with production staff to identify best practices using Lean Six Sigma, reducing variation and waste.
• Investigate best practices and emerging technologies and build a roadmap of priority initiatives.
• Use data to assess effectiveness of manufacturing procedures and report to management.
• Ensure correct assembly of products and document changes in the ECR process.
• Develop standard work and train staff on new techniques and equipment installations.
