Job summary

Ford is seeking an Engineering Specialist - Process to apply engineering principles and analytics to establish and continually improve manufacturing processes at the Livonia facility. You will contribute to safety, quality, cost and productivity while supporting ISO compliance and environmental standards.

The role requires a background in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering, with hands-on manufacturing experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
• FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to establish and improve manufacturing processes.
• Lead process audits to ensure discipline per Vehicle Operations guidelines.
• Develop action plans to investigate and prioritize quality concerns.
• Analyze inventory root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Create process and instruction sheets for quality methods.
