Job summary

Mubea in Florence, KY seeks a process engineer to optimize production and drive cost, quality, safety, and delivery improvements. Training in Germany will be discussed during the interview.

The role focuses on developing and validating manufacturing processes across stamping, forming, grinding, heat treatment, and assembly. You will monitor KPIs, lead process improvements, and collaborate on new technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or 5+ years in a technical manufacturing role.
• 3 years supervisory experience or 3+ years leading project teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of core manufacturing practices.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and implement improvements in cost, quality, safety and delivery.
• Develop, optimize and maintain manufacturing processes, including stamping, forming, grinding, heat treatment, assembly, inspection, material handling, and packaging operations.
• Lead and/or provide input for the specification, design, build and launch of new processes using engineering methodologies.
• Monitor and improves Manufacturing KPI – OEE, Throughput, and Unplanned Stops during shift operation by supporting daily execution of Standard Work.
• Forecast operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
