Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering and production process improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with R&D, shop floor and management.
• Experience with budgeting and annual operating planning (AOP).

Responsibilities

• Leads engineering improvements and capital updates to production processes.
• Collaborates with R&D Engineering on product and process performance improvements.
• Applies SPC and risk mitigation tools to ensure robust processes.
• Serves as gatekeeper for process capability prior to product launch.
• Identifies and eliminates non-value-added activities to improve efficiency.
• Standardizes processes and procedures across operations.
• Owns departmental performance, including cost and yield improvements.
• Monitors key metrics and ensures performance visibility and accountability.
• Acts as a technical resource for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributes to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and manages budgetary performance.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs, standard work, and safety standards.
• Leads by example to maintain a safe, clean, and effective work environment.
• Provides direction, development, and support to supervisors and team leaders, including hiring and performance reviews.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
