Job summary
Brock Grain Systems in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to measure, improve, standardize, and sustain operational processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet business goals by applying data-driven analysis and systematic problem solving.
Responsibilities include developing standard work, coordinating ECOs, and creating engineering docs, BOMs, and routings, with a focus on cost and delivery. 0–2 years in engineering with CAD/CAM is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering-related field, combination of coursework and experience considered.
- 0–2 years of engineering process work or project management with CAD/CAM experience.
- ASQ/Six Sigma or other certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Improve manufacturing processes using data and statistical analysis.
- Develop standardized work instructions for machinery and systems.
- Contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare cost/quantity estimates to align with project goals.
- Create and maintain engineering documents and BOMs in systems.
- Coordinate ECO processes to keep projects moving.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing on product changes.
- Assist in data collection for process/documentation improvements.
