Job summary

Höganäs in North America is seeking a Process Engineer for our Hollsopple, PA plant to support, develop, and monitor manufacturing processes for cost‑effective production of iron powder. You will lead process improvements, coach operators, and drive quality enhancements across the line.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, strong communication skills, and experience writing detailed engineering reports. Competence with MS Office and manufacturing systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing detailed engineering reports; strong computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and monitor manufacturing processes to improve cost, quality, and safety.
• Educate production staff on proper operation and preventative maintenance.
• Develop equipment FMEAs and coordinate parts, services, and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance guidelines throughout production.
• Provide management reports as requested and maintain inventory accuracy in M3.
• Investigate accidents and customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Schedule and oversee subcontractors with pre-task planning and EHS review.
