Job summary

Höganäs AB in North America is seeking a Process Engineer to work at our Hollsopple, PA plant. This position is responsible for supporting, developing, and monitoring the manufacturing processes to ensure the successful and cost-effective production of iron powder.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with preferably demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to document engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and monitor manufacturing processes to ensure cost‑effective production of iron powder.
• Lead process improvements and problem solving to reduce costs and improve quality, safety, and environment.
• Educate production members on proper operation of equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with production and supply chain to optimize inventory, scheduling, and contractor activities.
• Prepare and present management reports on process performance and improvements.
