Job summary

Höganäs in North America is seeking a Process Engineer to support, develop, and monitor manufacturing processes at our Hollsopple, PA plant. You will drive process improvements, develop FMEAs, and coordinate equipment and services to ensure cost-effective production of iron powder.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering and strong communication skills, with experience writing detailed engineering reports and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing detailed engineering reports.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, recommends, and develops solutions through equipment or process changes to reduce costs and improve quality, safety, and uptime.
• Educates production staff on proper operation of equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Develops equipment FMEAs and coordinates parts, equipment, and services.
• Ensures quality assurance guidelines are followed throughout manufacturing processes.
• Provides management reports as requested and maintains inventory in M3 with Supply Chain for reorder points.
• Investigates accidents and customer complaints, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions.
• Schedules and oversees subcontractors, with pre-task planning and EHS review.
• Maintains a safe working environment and demonstrates leadership in daily activities.
