Parker in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to design, implement and review manufacturing processes and equipment for a single facility. Under limited supervision, you will support manufacture and assembly of Parker products and identify improved techniques for testing and efficiency.

You will lead small teams on process improvement, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and help develop capital projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field with 2-5 years of experience.
• Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving of moderate to difficult scope and complexity.
• Proficient/Working knowledge of data structures and database programming.
• Ability to read and understand moderate to complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsabilidades

• Manufacturing Process Flow - Plans and designs basic manufacturing processes to improve the manufacture and assembly of new and existing products.
• Process Improvement - Develops and implements process improvement projects that focus on manufacturing efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost.
• Engineering Design Support - Provides guidance to engineering leadership regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensures more complex processes and procedures comply with regulations.
• Remediation - Investigates and suggests corrective action to ensure product quality, and to resolve quality issues.
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
